Dr. San Bhatha - Dentist & Principal
Since graduating from UBC Dental School in 2001, Dr. Bhatha has established two successful family practices in the lower mainland. In 2006, he designed and created his second practice, Southridge Dental in South Surrey (www.southridgedental.ca).
Dr. Bhatha is currently a member of both the Canadian and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry, and in May of 2010 was elected President of the Vancouver & District Dental Society.
Dr. Bhatha is the only General Dentist in all of Surrey, South Surrey and White rock with the ranking of Premier Provider and Teen Invisalign Provider by Invisalign. he is also a certified Cerec (computerized one appointment crowns) practitioner. In 2007, he was a contributing editor to the Vancouver View Magazine, providing monthly editorials on day-to-day issues related to the proper care of teeth and gums. And was an active member of a local study club for five years, mentored by Dr. John Carpendale, a well-respected and experienced specialist in prosthodontics.
Recognizing that dentistry is a profession that is constantly evolving, Dr. Bhatha and his staff take pride in remaining current within the field by regularly attending continuing education workshops on the latest technology, products and techniques.
Married with two children, Dr. Bhatha spends much of his leisure time in family activities. He enjoys an active life, whether it be working out at his local gym, roller-blading the seawall, hiking the local mountains, playing soccer or biking with his family. He and his wife have travelled extensively throughout the world and continue to seek new destinations to explore.

Jessica - Office Manager
After years of working in various Customer Service fields and creating a life for her husband and young family. Jessica decided that in 2006 she would go back to school and enter the dental profession, a career change that she had dreamed of since leaving high school.
Since joining our "Dental Family" Jessica has enjoyed the warm, comforting atmosphere the staff work so hard to provide and is excited that she gets to continue her “Dental Adventure” with new and exciting technology and procedures like the invisalign “Wireless Braces” and convenient instant interest free financing through Care Credit. On her spare time Jessica loves to go camping, read and go hiking in the beautiful BC mountains with her family and Dakota, her 2 year old boxer.

Kendall - Senior Receptionist
Kendall has been working in the dental field since 2000. She took time off to start her family and persue her love of fitness. She then went on to manage a gym and own her own business before returning to the dental field.
In her spare time she teaches fitness classes (9 per week) and takes care of her young family.
Kendall is proud to be part of a team whose vision is to provide patients with outstanding care and customer service. She is thrilled to be able to provide patients with a health oriented philosophy for their dental care using state of the art equipment and techniques.

Hailey - Junior Receptionist
After years of working in a restaurant and having just graduated from high school two years ago, Hailey knew her future would not continue there. She knew she wanted to continue being around and work with people on a day to day basis and thought that a dental receptionist would be a challenge, and something that she would enjoy. Hailey has always had an interest in some form of dentistry as she has spent a good portion of her life in and out of the orthodontic office. She was curious as to how a dental office would run; with booking appointments and why people needed the treatment they did.
Just recently graduating from a dental receptionist program, Hailey plans to expand her knowledge at Southridge Dental. She is excited to be a part of the team here and is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
Hailey has a great passion for dance and had dance since the age of 5, with not being involved with her dance group any more she misses it dearly. She also enjoys the outdoors and looks forward to summer for camping and boating season. Hailey loves being around friends and family and is always finding a way to put a smile on someones face.

Leonarda - Treatment Coordinator
Leonarda knew she wanted to be part of the dental field ever since she was a teenager. "I had braces for 4 years, so I was in the office every month for my ortho appointments," she says. "I loved the ambience at the dental office and knew that was something I wanted to do some day and be part of."
Leonarda is excited to working at Southridge Dental, where she has been able to expand her knowledge and skills as a CDA. After having worked for 6 years in the field, she finds it to be an enlightening environment since it permits her to constantly learn new things on a daily basis allowing her to grow as a dental professional.
In her spare time, Leonarda likes to listen to music, read, jog, watch foreign films, loves to spend time with her family and travel.

Tracy - Treatment Coordinator
After 10 years in the service industry, Tracy decided that her talents would be put to better use in a different field. She loves working with people and making them smile so the choice was clear. She received her training at Vancouver Community College and has been a Certified Dental Assistant for 7 years.
Tracy lives in Abbotsford with her husband and two young boys. They love spending time outdoors either gardening, camping or just horsing around. Indoors they all love reading or just horsing around!!
Tracy is really excited and proud to be a part of a cohesive team whose primary goal is providing patients with outstanding care. She is looking forward to the next phase of her life with her new Dental family at Southridge Dental.

Cherise - Treatment Coordinator
As a recent Graduate from the Certified Dental Assistant program at Douglas College, Cherise has been looking forward to starting her career in the Dental field. With the positive and encouraging environment at Southridge Dental, she is excited about her future career. She was always interested in working with the public, and becoming a CDA allows her to work with people of all ages on a daily basis.
Being a part of the team at Southridge Dental, Cherise is able expand her knowledge and learn new skills each day. She is glad to be a part of such a supportive group, who really care about the patient’s comfort and well-being above anything else.
Cherise is very excited for her future as a Dental Professional and hopes to continue furthering her career. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and doing local outdoor activities.

Trudi - Registered Dental Hygienist
Trudi has been in the field of dentistry for 10 years. Before graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program at Camosun College in 2000, she practiced as a Certified Dental Assistant.
Trudi enjoys working with the Southridge Dental team and works hard to provide meticulous oral hygiene care to her patients. In addition to attending dental seminars throughout the lower mainland, Trudi belongs to the Langley Dental Hygiene Study Club to stay current on dental hygiene related issues.

Jenna - Registered Dental Hygenist
Jenna graduated from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in 2009 and has a great passion for the dental hygiene field. She ‘grew up’ in the dental office, as her Mom was a dental assistant for many years. She loves to create a warm and welcoming environment for her patients while helping them maintain their most healthy and bright smiles! Jenna loves being a part of the Southridge Dental family and looks forward to going to work each day.
Jenna is an active member of the West Coast Dental Hygiene Study Club and British Columbia Dental Hygienists’ Association (BCDHA), both of which help her stay up to date on the latest information available to dental hygienists.
In her spare time, Jenna enjoys going to the lake with her friends and family, travelling, going to the gym and shopping!
