"I am 39 years old, and for the last 20 years have only gone to the dentist when I've had a toothache. I've disliked the appearance of my teeth since I can remember; so taking care of them was never a priority. As the years went on, after having numerous teeth pulled, I learned to HATE my teeth and the dentist.
I am grateful to say that Dr. Bhatha (and his staff) at Southridge Dental have definitely changed my attitude.
About a year ago, I chipped my front tooth ... badly. It just so happened that a new dentist in our area was available to see me. Needless to say however, with my track record of pulled teeth, I was a little sceptic about going in to see Dr. Bhatha.
I remember walking into Southridge Dental for the first time: it was very modern; it didn't have the familiar 'dental office smell' that I hated and everybody was so friendly. I was even offered to relax in a massage chair to take the edge off before my appointment! Regardless, I was still very apprehensive.
Dr. Bhatha came in to see me almost immediately; he introduced himself, saw how nervous I was and told me to "check (my) anxiety at the door (because) there's nothing to worry about". He totally knew how I was feeling and did everything in his power to make me feel comfortable. He understood my anxiety and took to heart that how I felt about my teeth - and was determined to change that! "What would it take to make you smile?" I believe he asked me.
Dr. Bhatha and the staff at Southridge Dental continue to put a smile on my face every time I go in (which is currently twice a month). I am now on the 'Invisalign' program and am working towards straightening and reconstructing my teeth. Dr. Bhatha has given me an action plan that is very manageable, and I continue to see improvements in my smile (which then gives me a reason to!).
They have taught me that I CAN like my teeth - and most importantly, they have taught me not to fear the dentist! I would definitely recommend Dr. Bhatha and Southridge Dental to my family and friends!

"I am actually happy to go see Dr. Bhatha and his staff at Southridge Dental ... that's a feat in itself!! Having had a few root canals in my day (not to mention numerous fillings gone bad), I am a prime example of someone who used to have 'dentist-phobia'.
I love how I'm treated like an actual person when I'm there, not just a patient or a 'cash cow'. They understand my anxiety and they understand that I, like most people, don't necessarily have the finances to fund all of my dental work in an instant. They listen, they care about their work and most importantly, I know they care about me and my best interests. I didn't know that it was possible to like going to a dentist, but Dr. Bhatha and everyone else at Southridge Dental have definitely proved that it is! They have taught me how to SMILE again and I am very grateful!

After a consultation with Dr. Bhatha, my husband decided to have veneers on his front 6 teeth due to the fact that he had ground down and chipped some of his own teeth over the years. I myself always wanted straighter teeth and went with the new invisalign product and I have not only been thrilled with the results but the staff as well. They are always friendly, professional and efficient.
We were so pleased with our experience with Dr. Bhatha and his staff that after our daughter returned home after a year in the UK, we recommended she see Dr. Bhatha. Our daughter had a bad experience with past dental work and needless to say did not even want to go to a dentist!
